The Maelstrom

The curtain for the Black Watch is at hand...

Adar looks shocked, and quickly looks down at his hands, "They feel warm for the first time since I died.....I have longed to have the feeling in my hands....I need not fear my weakness now, for I am no longer bound to the beast, but he will not be pleased about that, and he'll kill me for sure, How will I unite the world, I do not have the strength, nor enough telepathic skill to do that?...but free the Twelve I will, before the beast betrays them....and leaves them to die"

Oziah reaches the heart of the cloud.
He raises his sword, and his flames take all around him.

Josh stands in the bridge of the Rogue again, looking out to where their home would be. the other members run around continuing on with their jobs.
"iv decided" everyone immediatly stops, some even jump as they are suddenly suprised by the commander talking. "we're going home" the silence is deafening...

over the next few days the capital ships make one final push to destroy as much of the virus as they can before returning to the Rogue to begin the journey home. Josh says thank you and farewell to those he knows on Lorden, and the Rogue powers up it's warp core, and everyone on the planet hear a distance boom as the Rogue jumps out, to begin it's journey home.

(aside) *salutes*

Oziah finds nothing at the heart of the cloud.
He swears.
He makes his way back into the light.

The cloud shifts away from Oziah
The cloud forms into a massive lion shape and charges at Oziah

Anglachel and the others wave goodbye to Josh and his crew, and thank them for all their help

Oziah draws back his sword.
Oziah strikes the Lion.
The ash from the dematerialised Lion floats down over the city.

The black shadow lion reels back in surprise
The black shadow lion roars defiance and charges at Oziah, claws and teeth ready

Oziah sighs.
Oziah reaches behind his back and the Voidthirster appears in his hand.
There is silence for a few seconds as it swings through the air.
The Black Shadow lion finds itself in the void, being eaten by shades.

Oziah uses a Void technique to travel to the Beast.

The Black Shadow lion dies, and the shadows do not return
Oziah can't find the beast

(if Oziah can't find the beast, it means he doesn't exist)
(he is walking through the void)

(alright you can find him, but you can't kill him, not yet)

Alpha hears something behind him

Oziah stands with his hand on his sword.
"Are you the one they call 'the Beast'"?

Alpha nods and turns to the voice, "That is one of my names, yes"

I am, it's just no one else really is anymore, Silence left and it went quiet from there

guess so....

(It's cute how 'Silence' left and it went quiet)

Oziah takes a step forward.
"An you are the one who commands the black shadows?"

Alpha grins, "Perhaps...."

"Obviously you do, or you would have said 'no'"
"I present you with two options: You can ally with us, and share in the spoils of conquest, or you can resist, and perish with the rest of the pitiful humans. What say you?"

Alpha grins, "Perish doesn't suit me....but working together and killing the humans works for me, but what about this Adar, he has great power now, and is working against us"

(who's Adar? is he that telepathic kid that the ascetic liked? Man I can't remember who's dead and who's not...)
