Age of Strife

Del scrounges around in the rubble and finds what he was looking for
Omega feels strong jaws clenches down on his neck, and a low growl sounds close to his good ear
Omega realises what it is, when he hears the large wings settle....Del...

Del laughs and takes off at lightning speed after the flying tank/jet and easily gains on him
Del sinks his claws into the tank/jet and takes it for a spin, going into a death roll downwards, spiralling....with the tank firmly gripped in his claws
The world spins out of focus as the tank/jet is spun around
Del grips tighter his claws damaging one of the tank/jets wings quite badly
Del spins faster downwards and is coming frighteningly close to the ground, and a possible crash looms before them
At the last possible second Del swoops up again climbing into the sky, at alarming speed
Just when you thought it was finally all over
Del nose dives and goes into a spin, faster than before

a number of fighters and cruisers come around to where the expected collision will be with the tank/jet. one of them looks unarmed strangly enough, and somthing seems odd about it.

Del sees it coming
Del twists upwards and climbs into the air
Del swoops at lightning speed downwards and his claws tear open Omega's back severely
Del shoots back off into the sky, quicker than lightning

there is a flurry of movment, and all the fighters and cruisers criss cross each other and leave. suddenly all of Omega's electrics are overloaded, and the transistors fizzle out (will need replacment), including the repair bots (whether or not they were on. was originally intended for the tank/jet, but it looks like that is out of action. but even if it isnt, the disabler still would have effected it just then). Omega heres a bang as the unarmed cruiser smacks into the ground, completly disabled. a short little man jumps out and runs with his gloved hands in the air. at first it looks ridiculous, but doesnt when a cruiser swoops down and picks up the man and flies off.
Omega can see cruisers and fighters returning to the fight. but it will be a little bit of time before they reach him and Del.

Del swoops down at lightning speed again and sinks his claws/Talons deep into Omega's chest, and clamps his strong jaws shut on Omega's left shoulder
Del dislocates the shoulder and shatters some of Omega's ribs
Del shoots off into the sky quickly
Omega is left with his chest torn open, some ribs shattered, his shoulder dislocated and his shoulder is also literally torn open right down to the bone
Omega is bleeding badly, he takes a step forward and realises his right leg has been broken as he tried to brace himself against Del's impact from the lightning fast swoop Del came at Omega with

Omega sees the ship that disabled Omega's electronics is being carried away in the distance by two other cruisers.

Omega sees that cruiser a way ahead blow up some of the buildings, collapsing a number of paths, before turning and preparing to fire at Omega when in range. (dont take assumption they fire on this occasion. wait for me to say so )

Del begins to rapidly dive towards Omega again
Renegade analyses ever muscle and movement Del does, it picks up that Del's feathers are like armour, strong enough to withstand mighty weapons, and the feathers on his wings are even stronger, it finds no weak points
Del's flying is perfect, his speed excellent, his agility top standard and his ability to brake is well mastered
Del reaches Omega and sends his talon into Omega's neck
The force of Del knocks Omega off his feet
Del tears into Omega's back, and bites down hard on Omega's injured shoulder
Del then shoots off into the air again, climbing high into the sky

the cruisers are now well in range, but they do not fire.
he suddenly feels himself hurtling forward even faster as a number of missles explode behind him. one of the smaller ones detonating on collision on his back. (The ISA have plenty supply, they can keep on going for a long long time). the cruisers ahead, and the collapsed building are still in his path

Del swoops down into the ruins of the city, weaving nimbly through them and gaining on Omega
Del spirals in the qir and catches up to Omega, clamping his jaws down hard on Omega's torso and sinking his talons into Omega's legs
Omega's right knee shatters
Del tosses Omega hard sideways into a wall
Del stabs his claws straight through Omega's chest, and wrenches them free
Omega is losing blood quickly
Del snarls, the sound deep in his throat
Del shoots off into the air, faster than lightning

Del looks like he is enjoying this, and hunts Omega, waiting ready to attack

Del watches closely from the air, waiting for the opportunity
Del follows Omega

Del nose dives at lightning speed down towards Omega
Then pursues him nimbly through the city, weaving skilfully through the ruins
Del lets out a loud screech

Del lands gracefully near the heart of the city, curious as to what Omega is doing
