newbie need help!

hey guys. guess who! (actually i would rather not put my name on the forum anywhere for security reasons. if you wish to confirm who i am... umm. talk to me at school. please dont put my name anywhere on the forums please. refere to me as silence).
could you give the low down on the whole thing? i cant go and read every single one, i just dont have the time to go into great depth being year 12 and all. could people tell me how this all works. the rules and stuff etc.

Step 1 on the forum:
Think of an awesome character

Within this step, you must consider your character's background story, gender, age, personality, their abilities and what they do. You also need to consider their fighting style, weapon class, and Class-type if they are a character that is an absolute, Bonafide badass. (I you've played MMORPGs amd RPGs, you'd know what I meant from the last couple of parts in the list.)

Remember that this is a story and not an RPG though, so it's more about giving your character depth.
(also, you don't have to tell us any of this as well)

(What can I say: I'm a person who likes to be very detailed in explanations. makes it easier to interpret for those who don't know--and for me, so I get what I'm saying.)
