Let the Games Begin

Anglachel mutters, "Town sqaure seems busy today"

Bao-dur bows before Anglachel.
"Please miss, Where is this?"

Anglachel looks confused at the bow, "You're in the City of Ember"

The Shadow gives a high pitch whistle and several hundred black beasts come running towards town square all gnashing their blue glowing teeth
one of them has brought a sizeable chair in its mouth and The Shadow takes the chair
places it down and takes a seat
all while the black beasts are surrounding the town square and preventing anyone from getting within range of the odd group

Anglachel looks unsure
Anglachel puts her hand on her sword hilt

Bao-dur looks at the beasts and Anglachel.
"I take it they're not you're friends"
Bao-dur draws Muramasa and charges.

Anglachel draws her blade
Anglachel waits...watching the beasts

The masked figure speaks in his language (Translation: "This guy with the unnatural dogs... could the old man's stories be true? If so...!) - The masked figure draws his blade that is holstered of his jacket and prepares to kill.
The masked figure speaks English. "Time to fight these mutts...!"

The Shadow laughs the beasts all disappear
The Shadow stands a katana appears in his hand
A black metal basilica knife in his other
But then it all vanishes the knife the katana The Shadow's eyes finally hit light and everyone notices the unnatural yellow eyes
Pulling the hood further over his eyes disappear once more
The Shadow simply stand there
Holding his hand out to a man hiding under a seat the mans eyes go glazed and he walks over he then speaks in a raspy voice
"My apologies I have spent to much time with these beasts they are family almost I am here I am not to sure yet but I do know that I am after someone or maybe several someone's"
The mans eyes become human once more and The Shadow turns away from him as he falls to the ground dead.

Anglachel sheaths her blade and addresses the Shadow, "What business do you have here in Ember?...."

(I don't get it)

The masked figure, still not convinced its over, continues to have his sword drawn and speaks English. "More importantly, why did you strangely lured us to meet here in the main square of town? Whats your game?!"

The Shadow unsure of what he means
About to select another human to explain
The Shadow is stopped one of his beasts has appeared
The Shadow bends down and the beast drops a small knife in The Shadow's hand
A grin escapes The Shadow turning to leave he waves a goodbye

Anglachel mutters, "what was all that about??"

Bao-dur leaves silently.

Suddenly a thundering of feet can be heard
Anglachel looks worried, "The Raztec.....I must go...."
Anglachel hurries off

The street lights flicker on and off The Shadow moving further and further away with each glimps of light, then nothing but darkness screams of fear can be heard across the city "where is the light?" "What's happening" the city people are terrified a single blue glow appears the two then three soon fifty then hundreds of blue glowing teeth radiating from the darkness a faint laugh can be heard and an ear splitting whistle... Then the attack the beasts tearing into anything they can find multiple attack the raztec

Anglachel rushes for the backup power supply, dodging the beasts
Anglachel reaches it and turns it on
Light floods the city again
Anglachel looks tired

A raztec soldier stabs a beast only for him to find his weapon go through the beast with ease. The beast turns towards the raztec and jumps him bitting off his head and the weapon just fall through the beast as if it was never there. The beast retreats for the darkness with the others

Anglachel looks relieved, "that was close"

The masked figure gets highly and heavily sedated by raztec and taken to their HQ for interrogation. one of the captives says on thier comm chanell "HQ: we've got a positive on project Black ghost. Confirmed syrum works. Over!"
The masked figure wakes up strapped to a restraining table built just for him, all weapons still on his person and an old man stands in front of him - smiling.
The old man speaks. "Finally. At long last, We meet again: Project Black Ghost. Or should I be calling you "Fenris"!?"
Fenris speaks "What do you want from me, hmm!?! Why don't you do your job and protect those people instead of capturing ME for your personal gain!!!"
The old man replies "Oh, but we are protecting the civilians as best we can. Its just that we need you dealt with as our top priority. Your too dangerous to live among them - especially after the hounds revealed themselves to us."
Fenris speaks. "Says the old man who had me "Made" in the first place to do one thing: kill!! Now the people in the project have paid the price for what they did to me. And your the last one on my list."
Fenris roars out at the old man as he leaves the obvious cell. "YOUR A DEAD MAN WALKING, old man! I'm Comin' for yah!!"

Anglachel hurries off into the depths of the city
the lights flicker overhead...but remaining on
Anglachel reaches a place near the city border
Anglachel stops as she spots something, "What is that?"
Anglachel goes closer to the border line to find out
Anglachel finds a rope tied to a stake, the rope leads out into the darkness
Anglachel realises with a shock....that somebody has ventured into the darkness
Anglachel touches the rope, it is still taut, whoever is out in the darkness is still alive.....for now.....

Bao-dur is found by the Raztec.
He is surrounded, and told to drop the sword.
Muramasa disintegrates, and Bao-dur surrenders.
They confiscate the Voidthirster and take him to a guard room.
Although they do not know what he is, or what the Voidthirster can do...

Fenris learns that he can turn himself literally into a black ghost whilst maintaining his appearance and is capable of going through walls, inanimate objects. while not in this state, he can summon his weapons from his pocket dimension to use.
Fenris uses his pocket dimension to store all of his weapons except for his sword and combat knife and phases through his shackles and starts his hunt for the old man in Raztec HQ in his physical form.

Bao-dur sighs.
"sorry guys, but I have to get the Voidthirster back."
Bao-dur draws Muramasa and cleaves the two guards, absorbing their life.
Bao-dur moves through the base, searching for the Voidthirster.
Bao-dur meets Fenris.
