Let the Games Begin

The Shadow walks along the border of the light from within the darkness
suddenly he comes across a rope tight one end over the border another continuing
leaving the rope he continues his walk waiting for the right time
pausing for a minute he notices that the girl he met in town square was just back there standing in the light
taking a step into the light he makes his way through the outskirts
coming across an old broken down bar
takes a seat admiring the old place
laughing he sets off again this time unseen to the eye
wondering around the outskirts

Bao-dur lowers Muramasa and addresses Fenris.
"I saw you in the square. You seem capable"

Anglachel reaches her hand past the light and into the darkness
Anglachel draws it back quickly, "What is truly out there?"

several large blue glowing grins appear
Anglachel is pulled backwards as she hears a piercing whistle
a behemoth of a man stands behind her with his hand on her shoulder
The Shadow laughs shooing the beasts away as he stands next to the behemoth
resting a hand on the behemoth The Shadow speaks through him
a deep dry raspy voice escapes the lips of the mountainous man
"try not touching the darkness the beasts can sense it"
"and for who is on the other side of the rope they are probably stalking them"
"fascinating beings they are well we shall be off"
the behemoth staggers a little but stands back up straight and follows The Shadow around the corner down a small street

Anglachel looks slightly confused
Anglachel watches The Shadow go
Anglachel notices the rope go slack
Anglachel sighs as she picks up the rope, "At least you had the courage to go out there, whoever you are"

The Shadow heading back to the broken down bar
standing before a group of muggers and thieves
holding The Shadows hand to the behemoth to speak
"you are here because you are all being employed"
"take to the streets and find people with similar skills"
rough looking mugger. "what's in it for us?"
with a smile The Shadow whistles
a beast appears growling snarling at the mugger
"simple do this for me and you wont be killed"

after the meeting the behemoth is passed out the back
The Shadow whistles and several beasts appear
and leave running out of the bar roaming the streets
The Shadow follows them

the behemoth wakes finding The Shadow gone
getting up he rushes out to the streets
he stands in the narrow alley
his eyes going black he stands rigid
blinking his eyes become normal running after The Shadow
once having caught up they stand out the front
of a Raztec building
noticing the several holes in the walls
wanting to ask the behemoth simply shrugs
knowing its pointless because The Shadow cant reply
The Shadow walks forward simply passing through the wall
the behemoth sighs punching it so he can pass through
making it into the building they walk past all defences with ease

Bao-dur sees the intruders through the walls.
"must dash"
Bao-dur runs through the building, searching for the Voidthirster.

Bao-dur passes a row of prison cells
some of the cells have occupants, it is quite a creepy place,
having dozens of eyes gazing at you as you walk past,
no one makes a sound.....
but signs on the cell doors states the cell occupants trespassed beyond the border of the city....
you can guess what their fate will be....such is the law in this city.....

By now, Fenris has killed every single Raztec personnel in the building and has found the old man. The old man speaks as he is about to be killed. "Don't you want know something?" Fenris stops himself and listens. The old man continues. "She is here. I had her captured when you escaped to replace you 5 years ago. she hasn't obtained the mask and armor yet, but she is vulnerable in her current state--been highly sedated. Don't you want to find her and save her? After all, I think you know her all to well. Her name is: Anna!"
Fenris appears paralyzed (in a manner of speaking) upon hearing this and speaks. "If your telling the truth... Then tell me where she is!" The old man doesn't speak. Fenris's masks glows brighter and more darkening as he punches a wall down and speaks. "WHERE IS SHE!?! TELL ME!! WHERE. IS. SHE!?!"
The old man looks at him and replies. "I will take you to her at my own accord."
Fenris helps him up and the old man leads Fenris to where Anna is currently been held.

The old man and Fenris arrive at a sealed door Title "Project Eve". The old man opens the door, disables the cameras inside and stops the operation of the final stage. The old man speaks. "This is where you were "created". Fenris..." Fenris faces him. "Fenris... I didn't want to take her. It was that or execution. I made sure she didn't turn into you and kept her safe... as I promised to my son: You (He places his hands on Fenris's shoulders.). Your real name is Rhydor--you volunteered to become... Fenris." Fenris sees flashbacks of what happened 15 years ago before he became Fenris and was put in a Cryo-pod, only to escape and kill the staff of Project Black Ghost 5 years later.
The old man continues. "I am sorry. For everything." "My son: Take her and escape from this place. Forget about me: My fate is here! at least I will be at peace knowing that you will survive and will have company..."
Fenris speaks. "Old man... I will do as you wish. and I forgive you. For everything."
Fenris and the old man hug. The old man speaks. "Just give me... and honorable death. it is the only way you will be free from Raztec." Fenris speaks. "I know." "I was once known as Rhydor. But now, thanks to you... I am Fenris Rhydor: The Black Ghost!" Fenris stabs his in the chest with his combat knife as his father wanted from him to do. Fenris places his father on a table, shuts his eyes and takes his knife back and puts it into its sheath. He also places his Father's hands together and lay them atop his chest Fenris's final words to his father were as he closed his father's eyes was (in his unique language): ("May you be at peace and join the maker, father, and may you be reunited with mother.")

Fenris enters the room where Anna is lying upon a table and she stirs. "Rhy-Rhydor? Is-Is that... You??". Fenris speaks. "Yes. I'm here now, Anna. And I wont let anyone hurt you again. I promise you." (Fenris's right hand is touching Anna's left cheek as he says this and his hand leaves that position.).
Fenris picks her up and carries (and takes Anna with him) through a escape route leading to an Inn that is hidden in the room whilst still carrying her. The entrance seals itself in rubble as Fenris and Anna reach the secret entrance to an Inn. Fenris opens the door, passes through with Anna still in his arms, and seals the entrance leading to the passageway.

Waiting for him is Bao-dur.
In his left hand he holds the Voidthirster, in his right Muramasa.
"You sent a lot of people to the void today, one of which you cared about."
"Would you like to know what has happened to them? What fate you resigned them to?"

Fenris Walks past Bao-dur and places Anna upon a bed in one of the rooms in the inn. Fenris appears in front of Bao-dur in his physical form and speaks. "Who do you think you are!?! - what gives you the right to get involved in business that doesn't involve you and isn't a concern to you? and most importantly: Why are you wielding your sword!?!! I don't care about thier fate: its already decided for them because all the people I killed today had it coming!"
Fenris says one last thing before he goes back into the room: "stay out of my way!"

"It does concern me. Whenever you kill something, it concerns us. It's us that have to deal with your mess."
"I wield my sword because I will need it where I am about to go."
"I know you, Fenris. You kill many beings. You cause much grief to my people. But such is our fate."
"we will meet again. When we do, I will do my task. Right now, I have your mess to clean up"
Bao-dur swings the Voidthirster through the air.
It tears a whole in the fabric of the world, and Bao-dur falls through.
The hole seals shut after him.

Fenris sits in front of Anna, who is dying from been incomplete in her "evolution". Fenris watches as she literally turns to dust, crying out his name whilst terrified and cannot see anything.
When it is all over, Fenris's mind... snaps completely to the point where he gets up, looks into the mirror and says: "Who am I!? I don't know my childhood anymore. It was tortured and taken from me: my memories."
"The old man, he--He lied. he used me to obtain his vengeance by killing Anna. and I--I don't even know her." Fenris begins to see hallucinations of all the souls he has killed-- but realizes... that what he did for 5 years was the final process of creating what they intended. Fenris's mask goes black with red markings that represent his madness, darkness and lex luthor-like personality, forged anew... from needless bloodshed he was "programmed" to unleash.
Fenris's body enters the pocket dimension of the black ghost, where he meets the very souls of the past Ryuigin and Black ghosts: Fang, Diablo and Kronin. all were preserved into the dimension when they passed as Fenris discovered--and laughed.
He then kills them by using his madness and ghostly insane form of power to destroy them... and absorb their intellects, strength, abilities and knowledge of their history. While doing so, the souls that were killed by them spreadout through the dimension and leave, breaking Fenris even more with visions and hallucinations of pure insanity.
Fenris returns to the physical world: his sword tainted in purpose, his knife upgraded, his attire... evil, inherited and cunning.
In his left hand a highly sophisticated arm-sheild has merged with his left gauntlet and in his right: a powerful glaive capable of untold death and destruction.
Fenris laughs silently as he levels the inn to the ground using his glaive.
Fenris catches the glaive after it destroys the support beams. Fenris fold it into his right gauntlet like a hidden blade. Afterwards... he simply vanishes.

Bao-dur enters the void.
around him are many souls, floundering in their new found life; the souls of the Raztec, the old man and Anna.
They are half way to becoming horrors
Bao-dur frowns.
"I'm sorry. There is no second chance"
Bao-dur slaughters them all.
Bao-dur grows 3 inches taller.

Anglachel sneaks into another Raztec base (not the destroyed one)
Anglachel goes down to the prison cells, and sets to work freeing the prisoners down there
Anglachel sneaks them down a passage way, and leads them into the streets of Ember, taking them to The Shattered Circle, an inn and bar on the edge of town....very quiet and dark place, perfect to hide wanted criminals in and a perfect place for rogues and rebels that oppose the law to stay and live...Anglachel leaves them to accomadate themselves...
The inn keeper greets Anglachel as she comes in, "talons, haven't been caught by the law yet I see, swift and as wise as an owl you are, but you'll be caught soon, just you wait"
Anglachel laughs, "Save your words, old man....the Ratzec will never catch me..."
The inn keeper doesn't look convinced, "You'll see, talons...one day...they'll catch you, and I'll be there at your execution, mouthing the words, 'I told you so' as they loop the rope around your neck"
Anglachel smiles cunningly, "perhaps, old man.....perhaps"

Bao-dur returns to the world; at the outskirts of the city.
He marvels at the size of the thing.

Anglachel gets up to leave
The innkeeper asks, "where are you off to talons??"
Anglachel replies, "I have some things to take care of, concerning the recent attacks of the darkness"
Angalchel exits the inn and heads into town

Bao-dur wanders around without a purpose.
Bao-dur meets Anglachel.

Anglachel asks,"who are you?....I hope you aren't a Raztec"

having watched the chaos before him The Shadow smiles
turning to leave, the beasts by his side
the behemoth wonders what has made The Shadow so pleased

back at the old bar many more thieves and petty criminals have come
The Shadow walks in creating a silence throughout the bar
the behemoth speaks for The Shadow
"you will find your orders on that desk"
"follow it to the exact detail"
"get as many people as you can to help you"
"this place must be rebuilt in The Shadows specifics"
satisfied with the amount of people and what little skill they have
The Shadow takes the most skilful and the behemoth to the outskirts
The Shadow takes them all into the darkness for training
meanwhile the bar is being rebuilt to facilitate The Shadow properly.

Fenris appears upon a rooftop, looking down upon the streets of Ember. Fenris speaks. "those three fools... predictable as ever. They really do take on after "them". The Shadow... not so much. because, well-- nah! I won't say. Its my little secret that I learned from "them". Now... time to observe those weak thugs."
Behind Fenris is a bunch of petty criminals terrified by ghostly spirits holding them down and torturing them inside their minds. Fenris turns around and speaks to the one in the middle. "You've got two choices, fool: Tell me whose got your friends on a leash and I won't kill you slowly using those hallucinations of ghosts."
The thug speaks. "Look. A guy in black robes or something controlling the hounds and this behemoth forced us to work for him. it was that or death!!"
Fenris throws his Glaive into a thug to his right, which ricochets and kills the one on the left and returns to Fenris, who then spins it in his hands like a buzz-saw and speaks. "I already knew that he was in control of those mindless beasts. and I also know that he's making the strongest of your friends into his personal grunts, whilst the rest turn that old Inn into his personal home!! predictably obvious, too. He's too above himself in his ego and he's interested in this place, so he needs a home." The glaive emits black lightning and fire and spins faster and faster than it was originally. "Now... you will be my eyes and ears of this city. You hear anything: notify me or die."
the thug speaks. "But he'll--" Fenris interrupts. "He shouldn't be the one you should worry about, BOY!! now, I think its time to kill you: you know too much of my abilities anyways, and I don't care!"
the thug speaks. "But you said--" Fenris interrupts. "I LIED!!!"
Fenris cuts the thug vertically in half using his Glaive and dumps his burning corpse onto the pavement below. Fenris "holsters his Glaive and laughs "Joker Style" as he disappears again.

I am Bao-dur, shade of the Black Watch.
You seem capable. What's your name?

a pick pocket stands on the border yelling out into the darkness
The Shadow stands before him shrouded in the darkness
the pick pocket starts to whisper about the underground
and how it is being picked apart by several different people
The Shadow kills him dragging his body into the darkness

it has been several days the bar seems to be coming along
most of the required people and gear has been acquired
The Shadow walks in by himself
smiling at what he sees he lets them be to enjoy all they can
while he seeks out an old friend one who will run this area
Grimmjow Jeagerjaques...

"You're being followed old friend"
The Shadow silently laughs
lifting his hand in the direction of his pursuer
a young boy appears just in front of The Shadows hand
"a young boy can follow you maybe you are losing touch"
the boys eyes glaze over just as the behemoths do
"Grimmjow you old fool, how are you?"
"come with me I'd like to show you something"
Grimmjow laughs
"alright but i see they left their mark on you"
"not as talkative as you use to be"
The Shadow drops the boy, becoming a little taken back
the boy stagers and stands again
Grimmjow shocked addresses the boy
"you, you aren't dead how?"
a smile crosses The Shadows face
they leave all three of them without a word spoken.

Anglachel smiles,"nice to meet you Bao-dur, People around here call me Talons, I'm a rogue of the law, but my real name's Anglachel, what are you doing here in a place like Ember?"

"oh... keeping my ear to the ground"
"I'm new around here"
Bao-dur, without another word, walks into the city.
