Let the Games Begin

Anglachel mutters, "you sure meet some strange ones here in Ember"

Bao-dur reaches the Shadows' bar.
"Nice of whoever to gather all the thugs and ruffians in one place"
Bao-dur walks in and slaughters the thugs.
But his sword leaves no physical mark...

The Shadow stands behind Bao-dur and with a single blow knocks him out

Bao-dur wakes to seeing nothing everything is black
he feels his bonds and the chair he is tied to
then suddenly thousands of blue glowing grins are seen
hearing a voice Bao-dur listens closely
"you cant kill them but they can kill you"
"run run as fast as you can"
"if you go out in the woods today"
"thank you for cleaning up them for The Shadow saves us from doing it"
"goodbye"
then nothing not a sound or movement other then that of the beasts
and their glowing teeth

Bao-dur's physical body melts.
he travels as a shade of light.
then re-materialises with Muramasa drawn.
"I do not fight with the weapons of your world"
Bao-dur uses Muramasa at one of the beasts.
The Beast's very being is reaved in two and absorbed.
Bao-dur fights elegantly, every swing slays another beast.

the beasts reform

(I KNEW IT!! They are definitely demonic spirits in my opinion.)

Anglachel goes to the towns oldest building, inside this building a jewel is kept,heavily guarded, but Anglachel intends to get it

(one hour later)
Anglachel examines the jewel in her hand and heads for home

(alright, let's try this again)

Bao-dur's body melts.
His true form, a shade of light, streaks through the air and leaves nothing in it's wake, absorbing flesh, rock, spirit, energy and all it touches.
When he re-forms his body a few streets down, he has grown another 4 inches.

Anglachel senses something, "He's returned, not again"
A great warrior arrives in Ember.....Dragan.....
Dragan reports to the Raztec, "I'm here to capture the rebels and rogues who oppose your laws, I'm a here to serve, your purpose"
The Raztec look happy, "Then your first assignment is to catch Talons, a rogue, who's identity we have never seen, Talons stole the Dew drop crystal from the old empire building today, track Talons down....and bring them back here, they have an appointment with the noose"
Dragan heads off

Fenris stops and looks into his own reflection out in the streets of Ember and speaks. "I definitely need to get a better attire. Wearing old clothes from the dead is so wrong. Even by my standards."
Fenris hears a woman's voice in an alley which is likely to be soon by armed thugs. Fenris enters the alley and speaks. "My, my. Don't you people know its suicide to go around mugging people like this?" Fenris lowers his hood off his head and uses his unique ghost-like ability to "remove" his mask and reveal his face (if you must know, my character is: BALD!!THATS RIGHT! FENRIS RHYDOR IS BALD!!! and has thin eyebrows. His eye color is red.). "Now, either you leave this beautiful and seducingly attractive women alone and walk away: or you pay with your lives! Now choose."
Knowing who he is, they surrender and run with Thier tails between Thier legs.
The woman falls in complete love with Fenris at first sight--(Why? Her pupils were dilated, her cheeks blushing, her mouth opens partially and her heart rate racing just by looking at him.)
Fenris takes the woman to his new personal Penthouse in Ember city that he earned from using his secret identity to become one of the most powerful public figures in Ember city.

Dragan arrives at The shattered Circle
Anglachel watches him from the corner of the room
Dragan asks the inn keeper about Talons

The Shadow walks in
the lights dim and beasts follow The Shadow
pushing past Dragan he walks into the next room
taking a seat while the beast waits near the door
in black a written message in the air states:
hiring experienced assassin
hiring experienced thief
hiring "eyes"

Anglachel goes to investigate....but does so stealthily
Dragan leaves the inn and continues his search elsewhere

The women is revealed herself to be Fenris's personal assistant, Oracle, who is also his secretary as he is now the head of Raztec under his secret identity, which is currently unknown (she also is the self-prclaimed boyfriend of Fenris). Under his influence, Raztec slowly becomes more refined in their military training, technology and security.
Due to the fact that he doesn't want to where clothes from the dead, he gets rid of his attire (except for the gauntlets, which he makes looks more civil) and replaces it with a black version of the Joker's attire from the video game Injustice: Gods Among Us (without the flower, the skinny tie, the yellow shirt, suspenders, tailcoat-end and button style, bloodstained gloves and shoe-style. Instead, he wears a white shirt of the same style with the color up, no tie, armored businessmen shoes, his gauntlets under the jacket, the jacket has a full-length style with normal buttons instead (maintaining its armored sections) and the bulletproof jacket is more a proper length and is more decent (maintaining its collar, of course).)
Fenris gives Raztec more funding from his "inheritance" to repair the damaged Raztec buildings and to replace the old and lost Raztec personnel.
Fenris stays in his Penthouse (along with his assisstant, Oracle) and conducts his business there until he decides to "get out".

Dragan comes to report to the new head/leader of the Raztec
Dragan explains his task of trying to capture Talons
however he has been unsuccessful so far....

Fenris stands up from his chair and moves to the front of his desk. Fenris speaks. "Dragan, I know that you haven't found anything yuseful to go and use to capture Talons yet. But I have some "hints" that might help you out so that you've got a head start: Talons is not a man, or a group of people. Talons is an alias used by a female, rebellious, criminal-lawbreaker of this city who has been a thorn in Raztec's security for some time now and has inspired criminal activity to rise by successfully stealing that jewel that wasn't put into a vault because of the former leader of Raztec's incompetents. Now: there is a bar. The inn keeper is an old man with something against Talons. Found out what he knows. If unable... do what you think is necessary to draw her out into the open. and on more thing: when you do capture this criminal: Bring her to this address using the shackles designed to hold project Black Ghost. They will suffice if she has secret "tricks" (Fenris nods to Oracle, who gives Dragan the shackles and a note with the address on it.). Raztec will provide you with the resources you need to find out who she really is. Don't disappointing me, Dragan. Unlike the previous one, I don't take kindly to failure when it comes to things like this. Mess up and I'll make sure you will regret failing Raztec!"
Fenris returns to his chair. "You are dismissed, Dragan." Fenris sits down.

Dragan looks surprised, "Is what your saying Sir, is that Talons is a girl!....what would this inn be called?"
Dragan looks at the shackles, "what do you mean tricks, Sir?"
Dragan salutes, "I will not fail you Sir....what is this place that I take her too?"
Fenris sighs, "too many questions"

"Dragan, do you believe in the supernatural?" "Fenris looks into Dragan's eyes. "I have a better option for you: seek out a man named Christian in the secret circle - only say to him "you a believer, brother?" and he will tell you what you need to know--I can't give you all the answers, you know. I've got better things to do." "Do as he advises you to do and follow my instructions after you find Talons."

Dragan nods, "I am slightly supernatural myself, a man named Christian, yes Sir"

Dragan heads off and soon finds Christian and says
"you a beliver, brother?"

Anglachel watches Dragan closley from the rooftops, well hidden

Oracle asks Fenris "master Fenris, why is it that Dragan hasn't been inducted into the Hunter project?"
Fenris answers "Because, Oracle, i need to see if he is worth it. My contact down there, Christian, is an old friend of mine who tests a machine that permanently enhances ones senses. If Dragan survives his transformation into a true hunter of Raztec, then he must prove that he can survive."
Oracle speaks. "In any case, Master Fenris, the project needs--Christian is a recruiter for project hunter, isn't he?" Fenris nods. "Well then, that problem is solved. Now, Master Fenris, The main seat of power in the government of Ember has requested to speak to you in person. It seems to be important."
Fenris speaks. "Then he has the right to enter this office to speak with me."
Oracle notifies the penthouse's security force to let the "guest" enter his office.
The guest speaks as he enters the room. "Mr. Kevlar, I'm glad we can finally meet in person. You don't mind if we discuss the business of this city and what needs to be done of which you can assist us in doing so? If not, then we will get straight to the point."
Fenris speaks. "Of course. let us discuss what you intend to say when you said "to the point"." Fenris gestures the guest that you may have a seat.
Fenris, Oracle and the guest discuss "business".

Seeing Anglachel sit down The Shadow smiles
the door leading out of the room shuts
Grimmjow is standing in front of the door
the room goes black

in a large hallway
Anglachel is surrounded by hundreds of beasts
The Shadow stands at the end of the hallway
black writting appears before Anglachel:
sign here ..............

Anglachel sneers, "I serve no one....besides why are you here?"
The clone of Anglachel shatters before The Shadow has time to answer
it disintergrates to dust

Anglachel continues watching Dragan, and senses that the clone back at the inn shattered
"clones, always handy to make up an alibi"

suddenly everything goes black once more
The Shadow, Grimmjow and the beasts disappear
having found the people they needed to
they leave the inn
leaving a note for talons with the innkeeper

Dragan's eyes flare bright red as he senses someone watching him
On-lookers around Dragan remark about his eyes and hushed whispers mention "dragon soul"
Dragan senses the person on the roof, "Must be Talons"
Anglachel sees him and quickly dashes across the rooftops
Dragan gives chase
Anglachel flees back to The Shattered Circle inn
Anglachel reaches the inn and rushes inside
The inn keeper laughs, "Someone after you Talons?"
Anglachel glares at him, "Someone was, but I lost them"
Anglachel sits down in the darkest corner of the room
The inn keeper hands Anglachel a note, "A letter for you Talons"
The inn keeper then heads out back
Dragan is there waiting for him
The innkeeper nods, "Talons is here"
Anglachel reads the note
Dragan sneaks in through the back way
Dragan creeps up from behind and holds a dagger at Anglachel's throat, "I presume that your Talons"
Anglachel laughs, "Talons the notorious rogue of the law, me...that's a funny Raztec joke...."
Dragan snarls, "Don't play games with me Talons"
Anglachel draws her blade faster than Dragan can react
The dagger clatters to the ground
Dragan staggers backwards
Anglachel goes to leave the inn
Anglachel opens the front door, someone was waiting for her....

a figure covered in black robes and armour stands before her
"come with me"
grabbing her hand and pulling her
"you read the note did you not"
"there may be a time when you should sign it"
"no one said anything about serving another except you"
"we of the shrouded cowl are hidden to all"
"we find you and protect we do not be found"

he turns to face Anglachel
unable to see his face she wonders who he is
"make your choice have a safe house with us"
"or make your own way"
